Freeze dry 3,000 pounds of fresh food per year (18-23 pounds per batch). In a year's time, you can freeze dry 655 gallons of food.
Each batch typically takes about 24 hours to complete the process.
There is also a detachable Premier Vacuum Pump that sits outside the freeze dryer: 32 lbs. Maintenance: Simply filter and replace oil (unless you upgraded to an oil free pump). It just takes a couple of minutes.
